Dubai’s Longest
4,200 mm OD Microtunnelling Drive.
Our team successfully completed a 759-metre microtunnelling drive beneath Abu Dhabi–Dubai Road. With a 4,200 mm outer diameter, this crossing marks a major achievement in large-diameter underground infrastructure delivery.

Built underground.
Delivered together.
The TF05 drive connects launch shaft CS3-C13 to reception shaft CS3-C14. The supplied project record identifies machine MT 7 and 3-metre jacking pipes, with the full 759-metre drive marked completed.
The recorded drive period is 6 September to 9 October 2026. The reported average advance of 22.3 metres per calendar day relates to this 34-day period.
Two shafts.
One completed drive.
Drive pit: CS3-C13
Reception pit: CS3-C14

Machine reference: MT 7
The route below is reproduced from the supplied project dashboard.

Measured progress.
Documented alignment.
Design gradient: +1‰
Last displayed reading: 752.5 m
Level deviation at that reading: −27 mm
Displayed tolerance: ±50 mm
The supplied dashboard states that all displayed readings are within the ±50 mm limit. The last displayed survey point is at 752.5 m; it is not the final survey reading at the full 759 m drive length.
A shared achievement.
This completed crossing reflects the coordinated contribution of the operating crews, survey team, site engineers and supporting teams.
